What is the Scholarship Granting Organization?
Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) tax credit allows donors to receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction in state taxes, up to $750 per individual. By giving to the Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) SGO, your donation will directly fund a scholarship for a student at East Richland Christian Schools.

Since Ohio allows a dollar-for-dollar tax credit (up to $750 per individual and $1,500 per couple) for gifts made to certified Scholarship Granting Organization like OCEN SGO, your gift is essentially redirecting your state taxes to student scholarships at East Richland Christian Schools.

About the Tax Credit
Your Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) Scholarship Grant Organization (SGO) donation can be claimed when you file your Ohio taxes. Gifts made before the filing deadline (April 15th) can be applied to the previous year’s taxes owed. The credit is a direct reduction in your state tax liability up to $750 per taxpayer or $1,500 for a couple filing jointly. You can designate your OCEN SGO donation specifically for our school to help make a Christian education more accessible.
How to Make a Donation
Go to OCEN-SGO and simply click on the Give Online button. You can designate that our school receive the scholarship, and you can be certain your gift will fund a scholarship at our school, with priority given to students in financial need.
