“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
~ Acts 20:35
East Richland Christian Schools believes that children of every age level can learn to reach out to show Christ’s love and compassion to others in tangible, developmentally-appropriate, and meaningful ways.
At the high school level, a higher standard is placed upon this important biblical mandate to “love others as you love yourself.” Students graduating from East Richland are required to complete 60 hours of community service per year in high school attendance. Most students earn well over that minimum requirement. The senior year culminates in a four or five day Mission Trip experience as their Senior Trip. The school has sent students to work with New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM) in New York City OR in the New Vision Ministry in San Diego, CA.
