Fundraisers are a very important way that parents and families can donate time, money, or both to help support the future of East Richland Christian and reach fundraising goals. In addition to serving opportunities and volunteer positions across our activities and fundraising events, there are several other programs families can participate in that support the school:
Raise Right Program (previously called Scrip)– A fundraiser that doesn’t require you, or anyone else, to spend any money that isn’t already being spent for products you are already purchasing! You, and/or friends and family, purchase gift cards to buy products you want. The gift cards are purchased at face value, and the retailers offer a rebate to the school for each card purchased. The rebates vary from 1-15% of the value of the gift card. The rebates are shared with families based on their participation in the program. The more cards you sell or purchase, the more rebates you will receive.
The school keeps 50% of the rebates to use just like other fundraising money for projects that benefit the school and students, and the other 50% is passed on to the families to put towards tuition, incidental bills, or even lunches. The earning potential is unlimited. All you have to do is purchase or sell these gift cards to use on products you already purchase, and you are earning yourself free money. It’s easy for one family using scrip to generate $600 – $1,000 or more in one year just by using Raise Right to purchase the same everyday products they are already using. There are over 700 retailers for gas, groceries, clothing stores, restaurants, home improvement, and entertainment that participate in the Raise Right program. It is easy to find a gift card for almost any store where you already shop.
Riesbeck’s Gift Cards are now available through Raise Right:
Reisbeck’s – $25, $50, $100 at 5% rebate through East Richland Raise Right Program

ENJOY! Coupon Books – Purchase a coupon book and get discounts at local businesses. New books are released in late fall each year and can be purchased through one of the school offices. Visit their website for more information or to browse the current Ohio Valley book.
Riesbeck’s Best Choice Save-A-Label – Collect your Best Choice labels, and send them into your child’s class with his or her name listed on them. The school redeems the labels for $.03 per label. Visit the Best Choice website for more information!
General Mills Box Tops for Education – Receipts are scanned electronically now, and qualifying purchases are redeemed for 10 cents each. For more information, visit their website.
Kroger Shoppers – You can earn money for the school just by shopping and using your Kroger card. Kroger will donate 5% of your purchases to our school at no additional cost. All you have to do is link your Kroger Plus Card to our organization. It is easy to enroll; simply visit the Kroger Community Rewards Website and click to link your card to our organization. If you are a current participant, remember to “re-enroll” your card each April for our school to continue to receive credit for your purchases.
Cardboard Recycling – Through the JBGreen Team, waste paper recycling containers are placed at participating schools for their paper and cardboard classroom collection program. Twice a year, the school receives a check based on the weight of recycling collected. Bring your paper and cardboard recycling to the 2 blue dumpsters near the exit of the IFLC parking lot to participate and be picked up by the JBGreen Team. All of the paper/cardboard placed in our Paper/Cardboard Bins is taken directly to Valley Converting Company in Toronto, Ohio by the JBGreen Team Drivers to be recycled on site into a product that Valley Converting sells and ships.
